Technical Operations

  • Establishes new licensee operations from development of project scopes through engineering, fabrication, and installation of equipment, to start-up and operator training.
  • Assists licensees with new product introductions through the development of custom graphic images for printing, recommendations for tooling/jigging and process parameters, and the provision of decorated product samples.
  • Researches and develops new materials and equipment for improving the functionality of the Final Finish® hydrographics process.
  • Provides continuing support to licensees through training, process analysis, and the implementation of process and/or material improvements at licensees’ facilities

Quality Assurance/Control

  • Tests, inspects, and certifies raw materials for licensee use.
  • Maintains raw materials traceability records.
  • Instrumental in ensuring newly developed custom graphic images, coatings and activators meet the customer’s needs.
  • Maintains relationships with outside accredited labs for required product submissions.
  • In-house ASTM testing capabilities include: D522-932 Mandrel Bend, D870-02 Water Soak, D2247-02 Humidity Exposure, D3359-02 Tape Adhesion Methods A&B, D3363-00 Pencil Hardness Test for both JIS & U.S. standards, SAE J1885 and SAE J1960 Accelerated Weather Tests using a Q-Sun 100 tabletop chamber.
